This is cute rendition of the Episode IV holding cells escape scene. I usually like to turn up the “cute” dial way up to 11 when I get the chance. Lots of people loved this at this year’s C2E2. Thank you all!

This is sort of a semi-minimalist Spider-Gwen. I think the design for this character is amazing and I wanted to join in the fun myself.

Probably one of the most famously romantic scenes and dialogue. At least in geek kingdom, in which I am a permanent resident. I wanted to write the famous “I love you…” “..I know” lines somewhere on this, but I couldn’t find a good place for it. Maybe I’ll write it in like a Little Golden Book style.

My favorite video game franchise of all time. I grew up playing the first NES Zelda game. I can still remember the endless days playing it with my brother. The golden cartridge was always such an iconic characteristic of the game. When I first opened it I knew this game would be special.

And these are really something special, you absolutely have to see these in person. Cryptozoic Entertainment has their finger on the pulse of Trading Card Game fans and they know how to absolutely blow their minds and these are a sure way.

So one of my very favorite things to do is to learn new techniques and processes from other artist. I’m constantly looking to get better and I dig deep on-line and in books to soak up new ideas. There is always room to grow. There is always room to improve. And man do I have room. This is a study on Rocks. I saw a video of a phenomenal digital artist Arthur Gimaldinov. I instantly loved his digital paining style and I wanted to reproduce some rocks in the style that he uses. Arthur Gimaldinov is kind enough to post time-lapse videos of a few of his illustrations and one is the Rocks.

Set of daily sketches of the new Ms. Marvel, a couple of random dwarfs, Batman, Jon Snow, and Wolverine.. Working on a digital piece at the moment, but sketching is great to sharpen up the overall drawing skill.

Finally got a chance to finish the digital painting of one of the most interesting characters in Warcraft. Velen is a Draenei who fled with his people after refusing ultimate power in exchange for total obedience. Pretty cool story actually.
