• Chewie saves the kids!

This is cute rendition of the Episode IV holding cells escape scene. I usually like to turn up the “cute” dial way up to 11 when I get the chance. Lots of people loved this at this year’s C2E2. Thank you all!

  • Spider-Gwen

This is sort of a semi-minimalist Spider-Gwen. I think the design for this character is amazing and I wanted to join in the fun myself.

  • Getting ready for C2E2 2015!

Reminder again! I will be at this years C2E2 Artist Alley with Bill Halliar. Please stop by and check us and a lot of fantastic artists.

  • C2E2 Chicago!

Hey good people. I will be at the Artist Alley at this year’s C2E2 at McCormic Place in Chicago. I will be sharing a table with my good friend and super illustrator Bill Halliar (@skeletongue). Please stop by, great art, great people, maybe some deals? We’ll see you there.

  • Han and Leia

Probably one of the most famously romantic scenes and dialogue. At least in geek kingdom, in which I am a permanent resident. I wanted to write the famous “I love you…” “..I know” lines somewhere on this, but I couldn’t find a good place for it. Maybe I’ll write it in like a Little Golden Book style.

  • Zelda

My favorite video game franchise of all time. I grew up playing the first NES Zelda game. I can still remember the endless days playing it with my brother. The golden cartridge was always such an iconic characteristic of the game. When I first opened it I knew this game would be special.

Hey good folks! I am officially on Instagram. I gotta admit, it’s pretty great and easy to show some art. As well as see some wonderful artists post sketches and Illustrations. Follow me!

  • Wonder Woman Winter Illustration

Thought of a cute way to show WW in a wintery cute scene. Thinking of expanding the scene.

Cryptozoic Entertainment has their finger on the pulse of Trading Card Game fans and they know how to absolutely blow their minds and these are a sure way.

  • Finn and PB

This is an Illustration I had for San Diego Comic-Con this year. I’m a huge fan of the show and I love drawing characters every chance I get. About 95% of the people who stopped by and saw it had this to say; “Sooooo cute…” Mission accomplished I think. I definitely try to make illustrations as cute as possible most of the time.

  • San Diego COMIC-CON 2014!

Came back from San Diego Comic-Con late Sunday and I could not be more thankful to have spent the time with my fellow artist, friends, family. I am very lucky to have the most talented friends with whom I shared a table at the Exhibitors area. My prints and buttons were very well received and I could not be more happy with the reactions. Thank you to everyone that stopped by and talk. Thank you all! Below is the art I painted up for buttons I had at the Con. Now that I finally have time to take a breath I can guarantee more characters coming soon.

  • Wizard of Oz Tribute

I was so lucky to be a part of a private gallery for a tribute to the beautiful 1939 classic “The Wizard of Oz”. I submitted this digital painting titled “Little Witches”. There were so many artist that contributed art in many forms; painting, sculpture, mixed media, jewelry… I was blown away by the diversity in styles and passion every artist demonstrated for the film. I was honored to have my art displayed next to all of them.

  • Painted Illustration

Another Photoshop painted drawing. I’m a big fan of stylized illustration and I wanted to get used to doing this style. This one of a good friend of mine, bird lover, nature adorer, tea enthusiast.

  • Digital color sketches

These are a few portraits I wanted to do in a quick digital painted style. I wanted to keep them simple but expressive. I want to start developing a quicker way to get an illustration idea out. At least in this specific style. They are pretty close in likeness of the real person.. trust me. 🙂

  • Rock Study

So one of my very favorite things to do is to learn new techniques and processes from other artist. I’m constantly looking to get better and I dig deep on-line and in books to soak up new ideas. There is always room to grow. There is always room to improve. And man do I have room. This is a study on Rocks. I saw a video of a phenomenal digital artist Arthur Gimaldinov. I instantly loved his digital paining style and I wanted to reproduce some rocks in the style that he uses. Arthur Gimaldinov is kind enough to post time-lapse videos of a few of his illustrations and one is the Rocks.

Below is Arthur Gimaldinov’s rock that he demonstrates from beginning to end. Go see his deviantArt page please.

  • More Daily sketches

Set of daily sketches of the new Ms. Marvel, a couple of random dwarfs, Batman, Jon Snow, and Wolverine.. Working on a digital piece at the moment, but sketching is great to sharpen up the overall drawing skill.

  • Daenerys Targaryen daily sketch

Big fan of the show, big fan of fantasy.. long live the geek.

  • Harley Quinn daily sketch

Another daily sketch. Pencil, ink, markers… fun.

  • Smaug daily sketch

Haven’t seen the new Hobbit movie, but I looooooove Tolkien.

  • Prophet Velen painting Done!

Finally got a chance to finish the digital painting of one of the most interesting characters in Warcraft. Velen is a Draenei who fled with his people after refusing ultimate power in exchange for total obedience. Pretty cool story actually.

  • Master Blasters designs

These are some of the bomb and flower designs for the iPad game MasterBlasters.

  • Sneak Peek

Here is a sneak peek at what I’m working on at the moment. A very cool Draenei character. I have some of the body to finish, a bit of clean up, and some special effects. Should be done with it soon.
